My name is Emily
I like tea, a lot
Green tea, British Breakfast tea, Chai tea. Basically with tea, everything goes.
I like flowers, sunflowers especially, daisies are nice too. I just like the color yellow when it comes to flowers
I am bought by Jesus Christ and we are the friendliest of friends. We have a romance unlike any other.
My one aspiration in life is to travel the world. Pieces of my heart are already left in Tanzania and across Europe. I have been before, but I must return, I have been called to travel.
I love people. I want to spend my life loving people and meeting more people. They are my energy and are what make me happy.
I love reading, I am notorious for splitting my time between people and books, my friends and my characters.
I wish I went to Hogwarts and
Im Team Finnick Odair.
I love everything Disney, Rapunzel is my girl, Aladdin is my crush, and I want Peter Pan to be my best friend.
Journaling is a thing. I love to write.
I love English, and hate math, so I journal on my math notes when I can't listen any longer.

to be lost in a sea of feathery red

to be lost in a sea of feathery red

(via indystopia)

I miss the foam of the sea. When the ocean pulls back it’s marvelous splendor for just a few seconds before breaking completely and releasing all it’s rage and wonder onto the dry land of the world; and in the midst of this chaos and exertion the ends of the waves curl to create a foamy sensation that tickles anyone’s toes. I love this moment; when you stand on the edge of shore and let the breaking of waves crash and collide onto your feet. I love hearing its gut throat roar, like a lion in all it’s glory. I love watching this mystery, of how powerful and strong this release is, yet how impeccably controlled it is as well. God always draws a line for the ocean, and it never crosses his boundary. I love this moment. It refreshes me, because we live in a world where the human race has gone astray and disobedience is rampant, and it is so calming to take a second to focus on the tide, to breathe in the salt of the sea, to absorb the beauty of creation being exactly what it’s supposed to be; to watch something stay within the boundaries in which it was designed; to really see the beauty of obedience; and to understand that what The Lord designs is good. I miss the foam of the sea, and I wish I was standing on the shore of the world, taking in the wonder of the sea so great. The ocean is an experience when looked through the right eyes. And right now I wish my eyes were clear and that the sea of blue was layed out in front of me, waiting for me to drink it in.
